Birding 101 @ Castaway Island Preserve (no fee)
Sunday, March 06, 2022, 08:00am - 11:00am

PLEASE REGISTER ON OUR MEETUP SITE so we know how many to expect. Thank you!.

This is a great place for a beginner birder or anyone trying to hone in their skills. An easy one mile trail with cedar trees, oaks, magnolias, and myrtles. A boardwalk provides excellent views of the intercoastal marshes and waterway. Birds to expect here are raptors, herons, rails, wrens and warblers.

Make sure you bring your binoculars, water, sunscreen, and a hat. We will meet in the parking lot near the restroom, sign in, then go get some good birds.
