CBC4Kids is a fun, family-friendly winter event to celebrate birds while engaging youth and their families in real Citizen Science! The first CBC4Kids was established in 2007 by Sonoma Birding in California. The successful, annual event, now partnered with Bird Studies Canada, is being conducted across North America, promoting appreciation and awareness for birds and nature!

Activities include Intro to Birding, Binocular Boot Camp and then teams will hit the trail to spot and records as my types of birds as they can with the help of an experienced birder/naturalist. We will meet back at the lodge to talk about and record what we found.

A little birdie told us that Merlin, the Barred Owl, will make a special appearance this year!
