Join us to have fun\, learn and partner to protect the birds you love.\n\nOur Speaker:Elizabeth Filippelli is a conservation leader and urban bird advocate based in Northeast Florida who made a career pivot from IT and business transformation to follow her passion for protecting birds. She serves as Conservation Director and VP of Duval Audubon Society\, co-leading Lights Out Northeast Florida (LONF) — a regional program backed by 7 years of citizen scientist data that has secured the first Lights Out Proclamations in Florida and partnered with the Jacksonville Jaguars to reduce harmful nighttime lighting. She also serves as Program Coordinator for the Timucuan Parks Foundation\, connecting communities to nature through bird hikes\, science-based programs\, and outdoor education.
