Field Trip: Julington-Durbin Preserve (no fee)
Saturday, April 02, 2022, 08:00am - 11:00am

PLEASE REGISTER ON OUR MEETUP SITE so we know how many to expect. Thank you!

Let’s go look for Bachman’s Sparrow, Eastern Towhee, Summer Tanager, Great-crested Flycatcher, and Common Yellowthroat. You’ve got to hear them sing, you just got to! The preserve is 2,031 acres of sandhill, pine flatwoods, and mixed woodlands. There are two creeks that lead to the St. Johns River. This is an amazing place to hike or bird.

Bring plenty of water, snacks, sunscreen, hat, and binoculars. We will meet in the parking lot, sign in, then we can start birding.
