Field Trip: Theodore Roosevelt Area
Saturday, February 12, 2022, 08:00am - 11:00am

PLEASE REGISTER ON OUR MEETUP SITE so we know how many to expect. Thank you!

The Theodore Roosevelt Area is a 600-acre natural treasure of hardwood forest, wetlands, and scrub vegetation. This location is great to find thrushs, warblers, sparrows, and wrens.

There is a restroom located in the parking area. However, it is not always open, so please be prepared.

Drive down the dirt road and meet in the parking area at 8 am. Don’t forget your binoculars, water, insect repellent, and sturdy shoes. After we sign in, we will bird in the parking area and make our way down the hiking trail toward the marsh.

Fee: No Fee

COVID-19 NOTE: Masks are not mandatory per the new CDC guidelines, but for the safety of all participants and volunteers, social distancing is still strongly recommended, especially if you are not vaccinated.
