Hey, Jazz lovers: The #JaxJazzFest returns NEXT weekend! Get ready for 3 days of live music this Memorial Day Weekend, May 24-26th 🎷🎶🎤
Returning to its roots at Metropolitan Park, this year`s experience will also unveil a fresh experience at the @dailysplace Amphitheater and fill Downtown streets with jazz once again.

The 4th Annual Jacksonville Emancipation Celebration takes place this Sunday, May 19th in @jamesweldonjohnsonpark! 🌳
Hosted by Councilman Rahman Johnson, the festival educates the community about the historical significance of Florida’s observed Emancipation Day and will feature live music and performances by Jacksonville`s @thekatzdownstairz, @mralpete, @iamlovereigns, @malsmind, @nannkamajax and @jamsjax 🎶
Look forward to favorite local food trucks, vendors and kid-friendly activities from 4-8 p.m. in the heart of #DTJax 🍡☀️

IG of the Week: Making a buzz in Downtown! 🐝 We love this shot of @davidnackashi’s beehive mural on the top of the FIS parking garage.
This painted space will become home to several beehives and is a great example of how the Downtown community can contribute to the revival of bees.
The census now shows that the number of bee colonies in America is at an all-time high, with Florida ranking fourth among states with honey-producing colonies!
