Monthly Program: "One Good Tern Deserves Another: Meeting Our Population Goals for Shorebirds in Northeast Florida"
Monday, April 19, 2021, 06:30pm - 08:00pm
Speaker: Chris Farrell, Northeast Florida Policy Associate, Audubon Florida.

Northeast Florida is home to some very special shorebird nesting sites. Few places in Florida rival the Royal Tern nesting at Huguenot Memorial Park or the Least Terns of Anastasia State Park. Chris Farrell, Policy Associate for Audubon Florida, will share information on the beautiful shorebirds that nest in Northeast Florida and what is being done to strengthen their populations.

Chris Farrell is our NE Florida Policy Associate and is employed by Audubon Florida to help promote conservation and related environmental issues in NE Florida. Chris has also been active in the St. Johns County Audubon chapter. He has written several articles, "Beach Dunes Better Than Seawalls," "Birding: Hobby or Tool for Conservation?", and "Julia's Island Bird Stewardship, that have been featured on the Florida Audubon website. He lives in St. Augustine.

This virtual program is free, but you must register to participate. We hope you will join us for this fascinating online presentation!
