Reddie Point is THE hot spot during migration. The Preserve consists of 102 acres with trails and a dock. We'll start by checking the shoreline, ponds, and trails. We might see Night Heron, Wood Stork, Red-shouldered Hawk, warblers, Blue Grosbeak, Yellow-billed Cuckoo, Yellow-throated Vireo, and other migrants. This is a great field trip for novice birders. Meet at the entrance gate.

Location: 4499 Yachtsman Way. Go north on University Blvd. past Jacksonville University and Blue Cypress Park. Turn right on Yachtsman Way. No fee.
