The Jacksonville Arboretum & Gardens is a 120-acre urban woodland with over three miles of trails through a series of distinct ecological habitats, including a walking path encircling a beautiful two-acre lake. There are over 100 labeled plants. The Arboretum is developed and managed by the Jacksonville Arboretum & Gardens, Inc., a non-profit entity that leases the land from the City. In the fall we hope to find warblers, thrashers, and grosbeaks.

Location: 1445 Millcoe Rd., Jacksonville, FL. 32225

From I-295, exit east on Monument Road, take a left on Millcoe Road, then turn right into the Arboretum parking area.

Note: You must use Monument Road to access Millcoe Road and the Arboretum. The Merrill Road end of Millcoe Road is permanently closed.

Except for special events, there is no admission fee, but non-Arboretum members are asked to give a $3 donation to help with operation costs.
