Birding, star gazing and camping with friends is what this weekend is all about! We hope you’ll join us for all or part of this weekend trip. The Park offers refuge to six federally threatened and endangered species, and a further six species of special concern. We’ll be on the lookout for such species as Crested Caracara, Grasshopper Sparrow, Burrowing Owl, Northern Bobwhite and Common Nighthawk to mention a few.

If you are just joining us for the day, let’s meet outside the main building on Saturday, May 6th at 08:00a.m.

RV and ten camping is available at the park for $16 per night. Make your reservations early and if you have any questions, call our coordinator Judy Jeffas, 904-612-7036. http://floridastateparks.reserveamerica.com/camping/kissimmee-prairie-preserve-sp/r/campgroundDetails.do?contractCode=FL&parkId=281252
