“Crosby Saturdays” Every fourth Saturday we will be meeting at Crosby Sanctuary for birding and maintenance/work projects toward opening Crosby Sanctuary to the public.

8-9 am Birding walk 9 am-12 pm Work projects

Please bring work gloves and wear closed toe shoes. It will be helpful if you bring loppers, scissor style hedge clippers, and other trail maintenance type tools you may have available.

This outing is in conjunction with St. Johns Riverkeeper Save the St. Johns: Activate the River campaign. The 2017 Activate the River project highlights the local businesses and partners doing great work along the entire river, while sounding the alarm about the threats facing the St. Johns and the issues shared by communities throughout the watershed. The idea is to get people out on the river to save the river. Eco-tours, paddling trips, and outings will be scheduled throughout the St. Johns River watershed to introduce people to the wonders of the St. Johns, show support for clean water and a healthy river, and demonstrate what we stand to lose if we don’t stand up for the St. Johns.

Location Crosby Sanctuary, 427 Aquarius Concourse, Orange Park, FL.
