Uniquely located on a peninsula formed at the confluence of Julington and Durbin creeks, the Julington Durbin preserve offers seven unique communities ranging from sandhill to flatwood to floodplain swamp and marshes. Nine miles of shoreline provides views of Julington and Durbin creeks, and the extensive trail system is ideal for walking, biking or horseback riding with some trails totaling 6.1 miles round trip. Targeted species include the Prothonotary Warbler, Summer Tanagers, Swallow-tailed Kites, Bachman's Sparrows, various woodpeckers, warblers and many more.
